The Canopy was Old Town's first new hotel in more than a decade when it opened in October 2020 — 177 rooms of Southwest-leaning mid-century design, with Cobre Kitchen + Cocktails on the ground floor and the Outrider lounge running the seventh-floor roof. Old Town is the point of booking it: Scottsdale's galleries, restaurants, and bars start at the front door, so the car sits while the resort crowd drives in.
