The stay

1 Hotel South Beach is the flagship that launched the brand — opened in 2015 as the first 1 Hotel, with the sustainability built into the fabric of the place: living green walls, reclaimed driftwood, and rooms that average some of the most generous square footage on the beach. It sits on 600 feet of beachfront at the quieter upper end of South Beach, walkable to the middle of the action without sleeping above the clubs. At $$$$ it's one of Miami's most expensive stays and books like it — worth it if you want the four pools, the ocean, and design with a conscience; look to Brickell if the South Beach premium isn't your trip.
