The stay

Dua is Brickell's reborn scene hotel — it opened as the SLS Brickell and kept Philippe Starck's 124 rooms, balconies included, through the 2024 Autograph rebrand, with Ahu|Mar's wood-fired seafood now running the restaurant. Brickell is the reason to choose it: Miami's financial district does polished evenings rather than beach-towel afternoons, and the roof draws the neighborhood more than the tourists. At $$$ it's the boutique way into the district — book it for the two infinity pools, the jacuzzi-and-cold-plunge deck, and the skyline; the ocean is a car ride away, which is exactly what keeps the deck calm.
