Why it's on the list
Deck 11 is the largest rooftop pool on Capitol Hill and the only one where the Capitol dome is genuinely the view rather than a rumour of one. Eight hundred square feet of water inside an eight-thousand-square-foot deck, and day passes for about fifty dollars — the most accessible good pool in the city.
The stay
YOTEL is the value play — a compact, tech-forward hotel where the rooms (YOTEL calls them cabins) are small and efficient by design, the trade for a Capitol Hill address and the most accessible good pool in the city. You're near Union Station and the Capitol, walkable to the Hill and a quick Metro to everywhere else. At $$ it's the cheapest way onto a genuinely good DC rooftop — the pick if location and the pool matter more than square footage; skip it if you want a spacious, traditional room.
